um i think i may have confused you. When I was talking about 84.5mm and 90mm, I was talking about the stroke, not the bore. The bore is 75mm on both, you can use 75.5mm pistons in the z6 but you have to get it bored .20 over wich is what lots of ppl do.

 

Ohhhhh, i get it. Sorry I must have mis-read your post, or I just don't know enough about engines. Ok I'll go with the 75mm Vitaras then, unless they make forged pistons for jdm d15b? I couldn't find any forged, must be rare?

 

Well im sure you could use other d16 forged pistons, but really all the turbo d16 guys are running vitaras with no issues. I think vitaras are fine pistons.

 

Ok and one sort of off topic question, whats lbs/min when talking about a turbo. I am upgrading to an EVO III 16G after the internals are done and I read it does 36lbs/min whats that mean exactly and how much boost do you think it will run with the internal wastegate? I use a boost controller for the 14b, but how much do you think a EVO III 16G will run without a boost controller?
