Carburettors

RE: Carburettors

Do you know what the solenoid does? I'm still getting the occasional power chop having
- rebuilt solenoid
- changed distributor cap and rotor arm
- tried plugging various hoses to the manifold/carb to locate the problem?
I'm thinking it may be an electrical problem with the circuit which controls the solenoid
Incidently, It wasn't clear to me how to rejet the carb, or at least I only came across one jet when I stripped it down. Shouldn't there be one per throat?
