RE: check engine light on after fuel filter
thank you addiction2bass thats the first logical thing ive heard...im gettin reamed out on honda-tech for some ungodly reason i let the car run for about 20 min last night and took it for a drive and still got no code to come back on after i reset the memory, it was just weird it came on after driving the car for an hour and then letting it sit for 3 hours, then all i did was went to move it and it was on

RE: check engine light on after fuel filter
ya its something to do with the lower presure i asume.... cause when you turn the car off the fuel line still has pressure but when ya relieve that pressure and have to fill up the new fuel filter with gas i guess the computer THINKS thier is a fuel leak where it throws a code... and since it has memory it thinks the problem is still thier unfortunatly... so you have to manualy just reset the memory.
i thought the same thing when i changed my filter... i got back in the car let the fuel pump charge a few seconds then started it up with the CEL light on i was like WTF.... O CRAP what did i do wrong...LOL then read in the chiltons manual it says youll have to reset the memory so i did that and it stayed out
