hmmm, i think all it will do is set of a CEL, so go for it. but reset the ecu to make sure that it fixes it if thats the problem.

According to my hatynes manual that is Cataylist effiency below threshold. When my o2 went bad i got a 0141 code it was the secondary o2 and you talk about an expensive o2 sensor it was like 300.00 so best of luck to you.

Well,

Fast97 wins the prize. I took the car for emissions testing, and it failed due to "catalyst below threshold". So, anyone know a good source where I can get an exhaust manifold/converter (4 in 1 type).

I checked Autozone and their price is $700.

Hopefully this will fix the problem.
