Im putting a few things in mine like cam shafts, forged internals and such, and boosting it when it goes in, I hope I can get 200hp out of her.
I would hope so.

Yea but I think theyll just be putting the factory GSR Maps on it......I mainly did it so the ECU will work with the 5 speed, as far as the cluster is concerned. I think theyre going to chip is, so I can always get it tuned later down the line when I get some new cams.
Ok Pete, I am going to be a lil blunt when I say this but dont take it as a attack, just trying to help

You are putting yourself into the exact same place you where before. The reason your D died was lack of tuning. The blue box is ok but it is what killed your car. It killed the power you where making, and it eventally it killed the engine. The chip is going to do the same exact thing. It is not going to be base gsr maps, it wil be some bs pre manufactored tune by a company that has not had your car to see how the tune affects it. You need to either get a stock ecu for the engine or you need to get the P28 chipped with something you and/or a local tuner can tune. No way around it, I know that you know this so it makes me wonder why you are going this route. And I am not saying it will blow up off the bat or anything but I am saying it just will not benefit you as much as real tuning or a stock ecu.

Yea, I know what youre saying.....my swap came with the GSR ECU, but the guys at the shop were saying skunk2 makes a good program for it. Im going to call skunk2 tomorrow and see exactly what theyre doing to the ECU......hopefully theyll just chip it, then I can drive to Jeff Evans and have him play with it for a little.

OH, and believe it or not, the oil pump on the D took a dump, thats why the engine fried. I thought it was the blue box, but rob figured it out, and it was lack of lubrication. I hate it when that happens lol.

No idea, but there was definetly lack of oiling in the D engine.
