Default Cleaning the oil pan

What should I use to clean out my oil pan? And what should I do with all the junk that comes out of it?

purple power stuff cleaner

and then take the sludge to the landfill down the road from the Crown Coliseum, heading toward Arnette Park. they take household chemicals and car oil every second and fourth weekend of the month. call ahead. i think it's the Anne Street Landfill, but don't hold me to that.

either way. don't dump it. that stuff will kill everything.

Brake Cleaner. Couple cans should be able to clean it out pretty good, unless if you have shavings in there from a damaged motor, then its going to take a bit more cleaning.
