Default complete Engine Swap

What up guys or ladies!! Can someone please give me some direction on where to go with my car. My car is a bone stock 1996 Vtech Civic. My engine has major issues b/c the previous owner didnt take care of it. I'm trying to completely take out everything under the hood and replace it with all upgraded parts. Any ideas on how much something like this cost or where to go for the best deal on parts. I was thinking about selling it and buying a new car, but it would cost me more to do that than to rebuild my own. Let me know whats up please...

I'm lookin for mid range horse power to upper level horse power. Probably around 200 hp maybe a little more. I anticipate the budget being around 4500-5000
