How can I make a 96 civic beat a LS1 camaro,trans am,vette without using nitrous. Like what internals or different engine? or turbo or what?

 

turbo and from a kick... watched a boost monster 98 run down a06 STifrom a 30 kick best part is it was a b16 not sure exactly which one but it was boosting like 19psi beat the STi by about 2 full lengths so yeah that'd beat a Stock LS1

 

Turboed d16, any b-series or k-series engines. It all depends on your budget.

 

turbo d would be hard. if you had all the right things done. tuned just right. okay maybe so. but not just any b series will beat an ls1 acutally i'm going to say i dont even think a type r teg would beat an ls1. k series...good race. now turbo a b. yeamost likely butthats my opinion. beating an ls1...you need to put some money in.

 

if its possible put a h22 in there boosted so youll have some low end power and with boost higher end power, power everywhere lol. also i seen some video with an b20 or some type of 20 series engen with alot of low end power spank a trans am evo and others ill see if i can find it

 

anything that will get you mid to low 13's will keep up with a stock automatic F-Body with a LS1

 

Swap in an LS1

 

h22 with b16 transmission, turbo, port n polish, forged internals. thats a good race there. you'd win. k20 with all that same stuff would be the same, but about $5,000 more atleast.

 

I saw a turbo H22A video that made 816whp and 740 wtq. That should beat em.
