how hard is it to change all this. i kno there are special tools i need for the springs to remove with out loosen an eye lol any sigections on what to set my ecu max rmp at i was thinking 85 or 9 not that ill ever take it to 9 but jus a thought. help me out a little and what will my compression be with stock bottomend???

You need a valve spring compressor. It will basically push down on the retainer and spring, allowing the keepers (two little tiny pieces) to come free. Take those out and the retainer and valve spring will come off.

What kind of ECU will you be running? I think 7-7.5k is a little more reasonable assuming you have a stock bottom end. Honestly, you could get some ARP rod bolts, and be fine until 8k, possibly 8.5k if you are actually making power out there with the D series.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the compression ratio would technically go down ever so slightly due to the camshaft allowing the valve to open more.

no i have an ls with a gsr tranny. after market cam gears. i was gona buy a ecu already tuned for what im going to do bfore i get it so i was jus thinking
