gah, we could get er done. So most auto shops have the compression tester you talk about in your DIY Tony?
Autozone rents them. I think its like 40 bucks but you get it all back when you return the unit

well once i get my lip painted/installed, S-Techs installed and a couple other little things done, i was gonna take it easy on modding my car for a while, but if i get this compression test and i'm good to go, this summer might consist of alot of working/alot more researching/alot of boosting and of course maybe an 8 - 9 hour drive down to Grand Rapids to street tune my car

Yeah they're not worried about it. Its a service they like to provide, just like reading codes for free. Theres actually a joint here that charges you to bring your car in to have codes read...people are dumb

And why can't Flip just take the charrge piping off the intake manifold and run it with a filter attached to the manifold? No boost even if the turbo spools...

i wouldnt recommend a head swap and a conversion to OBD1...if you're going to convert to OBD1 you might as well do the d15b swap. thas where most of the work would be in swapping in that engine.
