No, viataras yield very low compression. Like, 7~:1 without milling the head or decking the block in a D15B7.

Compression in these motors really depends on what head you use. But, the highest compression set up in a B7 without decking the block, and without milling the head is done by using a D16Y8 head, and JDM ZC/D16A1 pistons. It's a bit over 11:1 (I've played with compression calculators way too much.) With adequate deck blocking, head milling, and/or a thin headgasket, crazy unnecessary compression can be made with these pistons. 13+:1 up to 15+:1 with the right D combination.

Yeah....I was told by many on here, that b7 rods can maybe handle 5lbs. The other option is to have them shotpeened.
there was actualy a video of a STOCK everything b7 with a 150 shot of nitrous that layed down i think 215 hp untuned but blew up with a 250hp shot. so i think b7 rods can handle 175-200 whp but i seriously dont know how long
