d16 to gsr

Default d16 to gsr

i have a 93 civic ex with the d16 vtec and i blew the bottom end. i want to put a b18 gsr in it, what all will i need? i would appreciate any help you can give me, thanks.

A swap from someplace like here with all the crap they give you. Plus axles, a mount kit, wiring as needed, and possibly a shift linkage conversion. sacicons will tell you what I missed...

thats pretty much it. but its not so much a shift linkage conversion or a mount "kit" but just that you need the DOHC VTEC parts. like from a 99-00 SI or a DOHC VTEC Del Sol or integra.

Hmm... Well, I said mount kit because I wasn't sure if the 99-00 mounts would work in a 5G.

yeah, it freakin bolts right in. but Hasport does make a kit, but its the same mounting positions as the OEM, but its all aluminum and polyurethane. not worth the money though, just get inserts.
