JDM D15Bs will accept D16 rods, but those are the only D15s that can. USDM D15s must either stay stock or get Crower rods.

Thanks, I actually just had to buy a new distributor for my D15B7 head/block so I geuss I am staying with that. I was going to do a Mini Me and was thinking of putting Rods and Pistions in it for turbo reasons, but looks like since I had to fork out the do for the Dizzy, I might as well keep the D15B7. Especially since I have 150psi on all 4 cylinders.

150 is on the low side. I would want more like 200at that compression. But still, you could run that one to the ground and rebuild with .5mm OS pistons. So long as you don't have much variance across cylinders, it would make a fine learning motor.

My research indicates the B7/A6 (same head) has the most potential of the SOHC D-seriesheads, because of intake angles and narrow ports (= high velocity, some porting is required to get the head to flow enough quantity though). You will lose some idle quality, and fuel economy by staying non-vtec, but your powerband (4k-5k+) willhave a slight advantage.
