Default d16a6 upper half

Hey,

This may be an extremely stupid question, but would it be at all possible to take the upper half of a d16a6 and put it on a d17a1 block? I have a completly built d16a6 upper half (Valves, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel rail) all that good stuff. I just need a block. I have a d17a1 block.

So could I bolt it onto that block?

Again, I'm sorry if that's a stupid question. I'm just curious.

Thanks

No you cannot do that. Also the "upper half" that you are referring to is called the head. The d16 and d17 are different motors and the heads are not interchangeable. Your going to need the block from a d series motor.
