O.k. I've heard about people boring out a b18a1 engine from a 1.8 to a 2.0 I saw this in a magizine. so my ? is can you do that with the d16y8 can you bore them out from a 1.6 to a 1.8 if you heard of this please let me know. If it can be done i'd love to do it to my car.

The best you could do without overheating issues is ~1720ccs. That would require purchasing ~$1000 78mm sleeves. I've seen 79s and 80s, butthose are drag N/A motors only.

so you could increase the displacement .2 liters buy just larger pistons? most stroker "kits" include longer rods and stuff like that...but hey, whatever works

Yea if I do anything it would be a swap. But wouldn't that be sweet to be running around with a 1.8 sohc.

i agree with fiasco...but id rather have a 1.8 b...or b20 or k20 or k24 or stroked k20 (2.2) or a stroked RB26DETT...heh heh?
