Default D17A2

hi,

I have an 2003 Honda civic EX and i have read on here that its not worth it to try to fix up the engine bc its to much money and it would be cheaper to just sell it and get a different car. is that right or did i miss understand? I was thinking about just doing some bolt ons just to get a little more horsepower, or maybe a turbo but not if it just a money pit in the long run. But im asking bc if its just a wast of money ill just keep it stock and save up my money for a different car. dont get me wrong i love the car never had any problems with it, but ill just keep it the way it is if its not worth the money to fix it up.

and thoughts from you guys would really be appreciated

i would say save ur money. but if uu really want to do basic bolt ons I/H/E yncan but thats all i would spend on that car. D17's werent that great of an engine in my books. I knew a co-worker who had turbo'd his d17 and a few months later the engine went bye bye
