claude they do not make a d series head that is dohc so that Ex is a SOHC VTEC head which will be replacing the SOHC non-vtec head, around 10hp gains plus VTEC

 

^ yeah I believe it's the ZC, but that won't fit. only d series engine that is compatible (for the most part) with the D17 is the D16Y8. I know for a fact you can use the ARP head bolts from the Y8 on the D17.

Since you have the engine, upgrade your header/exhaust to the A2 as well, or an aftermarket setup for the A2.
