i'm trying reinstall the engine to the manual transmission in the car. it is very difficult to get them to line up with the engine hanging on the hoist. i think i'll have to take out the transmission, mate them together and reinstall as a unit. any comments on this?

 

It just takes pateince . It took me a little bit to get mine to slide in. Its just got to be about perfectly lined up and level. A big pull bar helps lol. And the tranny is a pain to take out lol.

 

so i took out the transmission, mated them up and reinstalled the unit in one day. not so bad when you're psyched up to do it. final hookups today.
