ok don't know if i should post this in here please tell me if this is not the right thread. anyway my buddy has found a 96 egale talon turbo all wheel drive shell. good body but, the motor is blown. so he can get this beauty for $100. thats right one hundred washingtons so im not a dsm guy. im like most of us here but, i know someone here has to know something about dsm and where to get a turbo talon motor for cheap. any help would be great. it could be a great project car thanks

that car is A STEAL!!!! they are HELLA HARD TO FIND>> ESPECIALLY CLEAN!!!! GET IT!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! why wouldnt you want a 2.0, 24 valve, turbo, AWD monster?

Man that 4G63 is a steal. For only 100 bucks!!! and even if the engine is blown, theres a good chance that you can spare some parts from it for emergencies. I dont think your friend should buy it. I think you should go and buy it first,
lol. Anyway, those cars can be crazy fast. The only problem with Talon/Eclipse's is the oil pump. The stock oil pumps go out in a heart beat, if your going to get a jdm engine, be sure to switch out the oil pump asap. I dont want you going through much more problems. If your into racing or knwo anything about racing of a stop think of this, since its an all wheel drive car you can pretty much launch it from what ever RPM with out skid, since its a DOHC you get added efficiency and power in the top end, since its boosted- the engine is already pretty beefy and any turbo upgrade will make the car that much faster, and finally- since its 100 buxx it should be a killer.
