Hay guys, im actually new to the forum (had civics since i got ma license) simply for the reason of needin assistance in ma eng change.

im lookin to do an eng change on ma Civic 97, hatch, EK1. its a crappy single cam D16.
not too sure wat will fit or wat ma best options are...

a guy wants to sell me an eng... 94 integra type R. he dunno much bout eng details. i thnk B18C?? apparently non vtec??

also, anutha dude sed beta option is a prelude vtec eng with half cut. sed will b cheaper an dont hav to mess roun wit wires coz half cut.

dont kno which is ma better option tho... which 1 has more power??

if ne1 has ne details bout these engines, or knows wat else fits a EK model. it wood b much appreciated if u cood help us out.
