ok i just bought this car its a 89 civic dx sedan with the d15b2 and i was driving it today and after about 10 min or driving the engine light comes on?? what could this be?? it all sounds fine oil pressure is good and i just took the motor out to put a clutch in it. could the unhooking of all the electronics have something to do with it?? any advide would help. ( it worries me )

 

you need to look at the ecu under the carpet on the passengers side floor and turn just the ignition on and count the number of flashes the led emits in a row,this number is your engine fault code.if u got a haynes manual for your car it will tell you the codes,or people post them here like every day.
