OK i had bought a d16y7 engine of a junk yard and iput a y8 head on it and the intake manifold andall the wiring harnest, i put the engine in my car and i started to drive it worked fine but when i drowe like for 5 miles it started making a grinding sound in the engine when i stoped i cheked the oil and it showed that i had no oil, then i let the car sit forlike 4 hours chek the oil again and the oil is perfect then i start driving again and it makes nosound what so ever and then again it starts making that sound and i have no oil and later on i have oil after i let it sit for cople hours, i dont know were dose the disipears to, and i was thinking its probably the oil pump but my oil lightnever came up, sodose anybody have any ideas?
