Default engine swap

ok i got yet another prolly dumb question. how much would it prolly cost to drop in a new engine? and what would be the best one to go for, a b18? and finally, what happens with your old engine?

Bolt-in swap, requires 99-00 Civic Si rear mount, requires wiring harness modifications are for the b18's

i suggest getting a b18c1 gsr motor. its not that expensive and its v-tec its specs are 170 bhp @ 7600 Redline: 8200 rpm, 128lbs-ft @ 6200.

the price would be around 1000-5000 its depends on what you find.

try to find a totaled GSR or Si and buy the entire car. Then you'll know you have everything you need for the swap... plus better suspension, brakes, and possibly the wheels if they are still alive. then you can part out the rest of the junk you dont use, most likely to a junk yard for nothing but its the easiest way to do a swap....
