Default Engine trouble!! PLEASE HELP!!!

So today, I start up my car. It sounds gurlgley, and shudders, and my car won't go past 3500 rpms. I have a check engine light, and if I take my foot off the gas, it'll drop rpms to the point of almost shutting off, shudder violently, then go back up to 800. Any ideas as to what's wrong? Any input would be greatly appreciated

It's basically the same.On yours, the test plugwill beup above the ECU, tucked under the end of the dashboard. There are two test plugs next to each other, use the smaller one and leave the bigger one alone. Also when the light blinks it will not use long and short blinks, just one series of blinks for the first digit, a short pause, then it blinks the second digit, then a long pause, then the code repeats or if there is more than one code it will show the next one.

I still can't find the damn thing, I called a store, they said for an eg, it's not behind the ecu, it's above it, on the right side of the glove box, but I don't see it anywhere. I see a grey plug with all kinds of **** plugged into it, and a two pronged connector plugged into the bottom of the glove box

Find the big harness on the right side wall right at the bottom of the dash, they come out of there. You may need to pull the carpet down. Little blue and white plugs with nothing plugged in just like the photos of the '97 show.

ok, I just found it and got the code. Its a code 16, and a code 41. Which according to Haynes, is my fuel injection systems, and my oxygen sensor heater. Anyone have an idea exactly what it could be? how severe this is? Or complicated to fix? or what the cost'll be? Thanks for all your help
