THe car im buying for $300 it wont start. i asked the guy does it try to start. He said it trys to start but it just turns over he said it feels like he isn't getting a spark.. Could it be just spark plugs. I dunno i havent looked at it yet.

 

We need more info to try to help troubleshoot.

 

chances are its a bad ignitor or coil. 200 or less to fix (for a whole new distributor). if you have a friend with a civic, swap them and see if it fixes it, if so, go buy a new part, and youre good.
