F22B install in civic???

Default F22B install in civic???

Is it possible to put the F22b INTO A 95 CIVIC that now has the 1.6 vtec with the p28 ecu? What all will I need to do this and will the tranny bolt up? Thanks for any help guys, I am new to Hondas and I am trying to learn..

Anything is possible, with this swap you will be custom making most of the swap parts. You need the tranny off the F22b. A good swap for you civic would be any d series engine because they will directly bolt up to the tranny and motor mounts.

It will fit with some custom mounts and probably going to need a little modification to the body, also I'm not sure if you are going to be able to keep your a/c easily with it. I think it would be similar to a h22a swap. You also need a F series tranny, your stock D series tranny isn't going to bolt up to it.

I like the idea of an F swap, its the road less traveled.

If it is going to be alot of work I will just sell it. I am in need of a d16z6 to put back in it but it is impossible to find around Ohio. Thanks guys..

its possible and a decent swap, you could use a d series trans too, but you need to buy a h2d kit from bisimoto. that way you can use the d series tranny, and possibly use the stockpassenger mount and have to custom build only the drivers side mount and maybe the front crossmemeber mount. its a lot of work but doable.
