and #1 being the cylinder closest to the timing belt. firing order of the distributor as goes

Pick up a haynes manual for your car at a local parts store. It will help you out a lot

no it didn't help me at all. The Haynes manual tells me to remember the sequence but i had to change the Cap and wires so i forgot.
