hi

my 97 1.6i LS coupe is turing over but not firing. all the fuses are fine. was running ok any ideas.

A friend of mine had the same problem. But I dont know if it was a y7. But he would start his car up and it turn over but not start up. After have 5 or so shops look at it in a months time the finally found out it was a computer chip in his car that had blown. So they changed it out and it started right up. It payed in all about $400, for everything. If it isnt that then it could possibly be your spark plugs.

yea mine did that 2...changed the spark plugs hopefully next time it wont be the computer

 

test the ICM and the coil. if they are both OK, then get the ECU tested.
