Thanks boys! ok well i'm d only lass in my area wiv a civic all d girls got corsa's nd pugs big no no 4 me onle like jap cars but all d lads have got cars from 200sx to colts my uncle who has d 200sx sed i got to do my civic on my own but going insane cuz i need help on getting her faster than a normal civic, PLEASE help me give me a few ideas on wat 2 do n wat 2 get...................

 

Hey, Im from the UK too. What civic have you got? that would be a start. You could try gettin an exhaust manifold, that would help with your current set up quite a bit. Have a look for a megan racing one on ebay.
Also I would recommend buying a quality suspension set up as this will help you carry a lot more speed through the corners.
I know loads of places in the uk to get tuning parts for your civic so let me know.
Could even look into an engine swap depending on what you have already.

 

don't laugh but only got a 1.5 lsi hatchbach, got adjustable suspension given to me by one of my mates who was gona get a civic himself but then bought a scooby. i was thinking of converting d engine to a s2k but been told tooooo expensive.... got d cash just don't no wat stuff to get and the right ones if that.

 

USDM B18C1 or whatever the EDM equivilant is if you dont wanna ship an engine from the states.

 

Is the suspension springs and dampers, or just springs? To be honest if you want it really fast swap the engine, you can pick up a B16 out of a vti with everything you need to get it runing for about £650, then you could build that up, same goes for a B18c6 out of a integra type-r, thats gonna cost about £850-1000.
Other than that you could get a B18c4 out of a 4 door civic vti, these engines can be had for as little as £250 and can be turbo'd very easily for huge power gains. If money is no object you could even buy a K20 out a civ type-r,it will cost a lot to make it fit but it can be done. Your spoilt for choice! You will find the engines and gear boxes on internet breaker yard's, but they can be over priced so be warned, ebay is also a good place to look, and finaly search in the classified sections of jap car mags like j-tuner an banzai as bargains can be had here. Let me know what you want and I will have a look around for you.

 

Shipping an engine from the states is a bad idea, you can get most engine's over here cheaper than in the states so its a completely pointless exercise.

 

do you know what the GSR was in europe? id rather have the engine out of that than the one out of a EDM ITR.

 

B18c4, 168bhp, found in 4 door civic vti's. Dont know stats of gsr but think its the same engine. Id rather have ukdm B18c6 over B18c4 as I would like to go all motor.
