Default GSR head on a B16 - any of you trying this?

Ive done the googling around this but i was wondering what peoples thoughts are on this swap. Is it worth selling my B16 head and buying new manifolds for this? Have any of you personally tried this?

What? The b16 head is the best flowing head accept a little bit inferior to the type r head and most of that is just valvetrain which can be replaced. The gsr head is inferior to the b16 head so i dont understand what you are trying to do buy what manifolds for what head.

i want to know if i would see power improvements by switching to a GSR head. I will be using Skunk2 stage 1 cams and valve springs with it, in which case would i benefit more from staying with the B16A head? OR would it be better to use the GSR head for its chamber design and hence higher compression by 0.2.

I'd assume the compression difference has more to do with the different stroke than it does with combustion chamber design.

But honestly, I don't really know much about the b18c2... we yanks don't have those over here

yea I just finish building my LS/Vtec in my integra and could of got a GSR head for less then I paid for the B16 head I went with but choose the B16 over the GSR because its a much better flowing head
