h22 or b18 ??

i want a 06 si but the moms is giving me problemns... telling me tos tick with my car...so its either a b18(any model) or a h22a(any model)...i really like the h22 type s modeil with the red top...which would be better cause i heard the h22 is heay..will it have a probelm in a 98 civic coupe?

i dont think so. the 06 will be cheap now if you can find one in a dealership comming off a lease or trade in. i paid 21,000 for my 07 SI. had 2 miles on it. 08's are dropping now, so a 2006 would be around 17's easily. especially if your like me and kick around the dealer a little. i am in car sales as well so, he couldnt pull the wool over my eyes. oh for my 21k i also got the whole Nav unit and everything. sticker was 24k+

youll be fine, this whole "H22 is too heavy" thing is a joke. A b series with a turbo kit is the same.

if ur gunna do a swap and have the funds go with a b18c (gsr), if ur a little tight on funds go with a b18b (ls) , id pick them over the h22 solely because their easier to swap in, friend of mine swapped an h22 in his hatch and his hood wouldnt close, had to get a cf hood with hood pins which cost an extra $500 that came up unexpectedly
