you do not need the P28 ecu, you need a P2P ecu from a 96-98 civic ex. If you are willing to spend around a grand on the head I can plot a good build for you.

Alright.. someone asking same question..<<< port polish and valve job<<<.. i called a semi local machine shop who works on engines in Jeff Evans area.. for those who know who that is.. so we will just say a reliable source machine shop.. they quoted .. starting at just over 600 dollars for headwork.. up into over 1k for extensive race performance job.. so unless u really want to dump cash i would stay away from this unless you can find someone who is cheap in your area.. i have looked at mail places online as well for these figures.. thinking they might be cheaper.. only place that will do for under 500 was a guy that sells remanufactered heads on ebay.. he charges 400 for mild port/polish.. and thats not including any parts.. so cams/springs retainers.. that is all extra cost... same with other prices i had quoted above.. so for anyone who wants this cleared up.. if someone has a shop near them that will do this work for less.. PLEASE !!!!! let me know as i may still be interested ,, if it doesnt cost as much as replacing my whole engine..for that kinda cash i just expect a super gain .. but the other thing is and im sure others will agree .. after you have done this work with port/polish rebuilt engine with head swap.. you will probably want a tune.. which will cost extra cash.. first for the system and then the person to do it.
