head gasket help

Default head gasket help

does any one know where to get a head gasket that is thicker then stock. i am about to put the pm7 piston in with a zex or a skunk 2 cam. i am tryin to find a head gasket that about a .065 to .070 soo i get can the compression up to around 11.5 or close to it.

i may be wrong ,but in order to raise compression, you want less gasket,not more. but maybe the new piston size is compensating for your choice in gasket size. just a thought.

im pretty sure antrmo is right, if you want to raise compression u need to take your head to a machine shop and have them shave a few thousandths off, you want to decrease the amount of area not increase.

with the new piston, it would put the compression to 12. to 1 i wantin it a lil lower soo i was goin with a thicker head gasket to put it a 11.5 to 1
