Hearing Vtec crossover?

Hearing Vtec crossover?

I know with an intake you can hear the b16 vtec kicking in. But with a SOHC Vtec can you hear that kick in with an intake?

it will help but the reason dohc's sound louder is because both intake and exhaust valvetrain shift. on the sohc's only the intake shifts. a intake will help but you still wont be like a dohc
