I think its the pipe connected to the muffler is leaking right at the joint.

I JUST HAPPEN TO LIKE TO TYPE IN CAPS...I THOUGHT THIS "CAPS LOCK KEY" YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE CAR. THATS WHY I SAID SORRY IM A GIRL.. The reason typing in all caps is bad on a forum is because of the following reasons:

1: It is harder to read.

2: Because written words here are the equivalent of speaking.

3: Because of 2, typing in all caps is the same as shouting.

4: Some people have a bug up their nose and really don't like all caps typers.

 

does the car have a COLD AIR INTAKE? that could be a reason why the car is louder...

look under the hood, there should be a nice shinny tube on the left side of the engine with a huge cone filter attached
