i blow the motor in 95 civic dx i have a new one but were do i start buy pull the one out i need help before it's start to snow here in wi

 

A repair manual will be useful in this situation, as if will explain to you how to take care of this overhaul.

If you've never done this before you may want an experienced hand around to help you out. The manuals are fairly informative on how to take care of this task, so I would start right there!

I think that u should have a professional do this for u since u do even know where to start. If u really want to do it urself then do some research online, print out some instructionsand study up before u start doing anything.

 

remove ecu main relay
turn over to get fuel out of the line
remove battery
remove fuel line, fuel return
drain coolant
remove coolant hoses
remove throttle cable
remove axles
unhook shifter from transmission
position engine hoist/hook to the engine
unhook and lable sensors, plugs
drain oil
put tension on the engine
remove drivers side, passengers side, rear, front lower support mounts
jack up engine hoist slowly to double check everything is un hooked
if all is clear pull it on out
if not unhook and lable what is left

also unhook your clutch line and all vacuum lines.

I probly for got something but hey I just had 4 teeth pulled and am eating loratabs.
