from a 2005 honda civic LX coupe Automatic (d17) what head would i replace it with?

 

And would my intake and exhaust still be compatiable with the new head or no?

 

Please someone help me out on this one.

 

you would get the ex head, intake manifold, and ecu from a 01 to 05

 

Ohh ok. I thought i would just be able to get the vtec head, i didnt know that i needed the IM and ECU. Will the SRI and cat-back exhaust that is on my engine now, fit with the EX head?

 

the EX head is vtec. you will need a new ECU and you will have to do a lot of work to get the vtec working. im pretty sure both the SRI and the exhaust will work, but im not 100% positive on the SRI (someone with a 7th gen EX, are the TBs top mounted or side mounted? i know they are on the LX)

 

I honestly could not answer every question you have, I am not a fan of 7th gen civic's at all so I have never took the time to learn anything about them.

 

think they are all top mounted and they are also plastic
