Default Ignition Switch difficutly

Hello, I need your help.. My girlfriend has a 2000 EX Honda Civic.. and when she tries to put her key in the ignition some times the key can not turn start they engine... In order for her to start the car she has to play with it a bit.. I am sure that its just the ignition switch but i dont know if this is a common problem.. If anybody knows a quick solution rather than replacing the switch your help would be greatly appreciated.. If not, do you know if there is any other year of civic compatible for the switch that i can pull off a junk yard? thanks for your help in advance..

You might want to try lubricating the lock with a graphite-based powder specifically used for locks. I think it can even be purchased from Walmart.
