H23A1 basic specs:

160 hp @ 5,800 rpm
156 lb/ft @ 4,500 rpm

Out of a 4th gen Prelude, I believe.
Displacement = 2258
Compression Ratio = 9.8:1

and Kappa gave you the HP/Torque

H22A would be a better gamble. though i believe you could put in the H23 and put on the H22A head, so you have the torque of the H23 and the VTEC of the H22

Yeh, I saw one of his other posts and he said he already had the engine in the car.
