i think a couple of my injectors are going out or are becoming clogged... because when it sits and idles it seems like the car is about to quiet and my exsaust starts to rattle around and cut out every now and then...i tryed that really exspensive injector cleaner that was like 30 bucks a bottle but now my car makes a tick when you first take off......my valves arnt bent or anything because i think the injectors are making something tick and the reason why i know that my valves arnt bent is because once you get up around 2000 and about there isnt a ticking noise any more..what do you guys think does it sound like my injectors are going south or is it something else?[sm=helpout.gif]

 

what makes you think it's the injectors? I think it may be something else. Unless you poured flower in your gas tank, your injectors won't get clogged, at least not to the point where they won't be able to function.

 

well maybe the fact that my exsaust cuts out at idling rpms and has a hard time staying at a constint idle......and i looked into the chilten car manuel and it says the cuase of a hard low idleing is bad injectors....and another reason why i think it might be the injectors is the FACTORY honda dealership told me they think that the injectors are getting worse......

the injectors are partualy clogged so they arnt spraying to there maximum.....

 

ok, i see. well, my other guess would have been maybe a bad TPS sensor. As for the injectors, I would get new ones. Good luck.

 

i am looking at the RC 370cc injectors to replace since i am getting the car ready for turbo, only stock boost..

i am gonna do.....

fuel pressure regulator

i just want to be safe do you guys think that these injectors are gonna be to much for my d-series motor at stock boost or should i get the 270cc injectors instead of 370cc[sm=massbounce.gif]

 

370 will just kill your gas mileage. if you are going turbo, get the 270s. that will be plenty.

 

ANything lower then 310 shoudl be fine for not crazy boost.
