Stock sleeves will hold you to 500-550whp on a D16. Sleeves will hold more power than you can make (500 is the highest I've seen).

Most importantly research. The more you know the better.

Unless you want the bottom of your motor to look like mine (see pic below) I suggest you do lots of research, specifically about how to fix your oil pump so that it doesn't starve the bottom end of oil
