Default JDM or USDM?

When looking at a JDM B16A, and a USDM B16A2, what visual differences should I look for to be able to tell the difference? Will there be anything on the engine that actual says which it is? I know its a lame question, but I've never known.

Thats the thing, I havent actually seen the engine yet.

Heres the story:
A friend of mine put me into contact with a guy in my area who has a wrecked CRX in his garage. I called him up hoping for some parts, and found out that hes got a B16, which is really vague, but still hopeful. Well, this weekend sometime im going to go see the car, and I wanted to be able to tell whether the engine was JDM or not. Right now Ive got a B16A2, which is all fine and well, but Id like to start making my way to a mostly, if not entire, JDM car. So, if this engine is JDM, Id like to get it since he said he charge me about a thousand bucks (I know the price seems shady, but theres nothing wrong with it, the back end was the part that was wrecked). I know theres a stamp on the block that tells you what kind of engine you have, but Im not sure what Im looking for number-wise and location wise. Would it just say JDM B16A?

its on the left side of the block near the tranny. if its the JDM then it will say B16A and if its the USDM it will say B16A1, A2, A3, or A4
