Just blew pistons, looking for another engine, anyone have any ideas on what i should get???

i dont know if i should just get a regular engine, or go ahead for sumthing better, i have a 97 civic ex, my engine now is not a vtec, i think theowner b4 me pulled it, not sure what to do any help would be much appreciated

my money is a little tight right now, cause i just bought the body kit, fenders, and headlights, i really wasnt expecting this lol so right now im kinda screwed
