Just blew pistons, looking for another engine, anyone have any ideas on what i should get???

i dont know if i should just get a regular engine, or go ahead for sumthing better, i have a 97 civic ex, my engine now is not a vtec, i think theowner b4 me pulled it, not sure what to do any help would be much appreciated

What do you want out of your engine? How much are you looking to spend?

my money is a little tight right now, cause i just bought the body kit, fenders, and headlights, i really wasnt expecting this lol so right now im kinda screwed

i would say dont buy anything right now and save up for either a b16a orb18c
