i am in the process of building an ls/vtec and wanted to know what head to use a b16 or b18c1 i am going to add cams and port and polish the head but wanted to know which i can make more power with.

 

id go with a GSR head, (p72)you could get a valve job also to add some more performace. The GSR head will bump the compression up a little cause the combustion chambers are a little smaller than the B16.

Go with a GSR and a valve job will net you better power then a Port and polish. Unless you plan on increasing displacement and doing an insane all motor build.
