Default MaximusFunk's mini-me questions thread

I want to be 100% sure of everything I have to do before I take my daily driver apart, but in an effort not to pollute this entire section of the forum with my many head swap related questions, I have made a single thread.

My first question is this: I found out the new y8 head/intake is 99-00, so it has the cold start assist nipple on the intake manifold. I know I can just plug it, but I would rather have it working.

Does my 2000 LX come with a FIA control valve as shown in this diagram, or should I just plug the hole with JB weld?

and for my second question, do I have to use a y8 pcv valve, or can I keep my 90 degree y7 valve? im assuming I would need to buy some longer hose because of the new location of the nipple on the y8 manifold. anyone know how many mm in diameter the new hose I buy should be?
