Default Mini-Me Question D16Y7+D16Z6

So my Z6 motor threw a rod through the block so im not using that block anymore.....duh. I just acquired a Y7 and was wondering if i could use the Y7 block + bottom end and use my Z6 head for a raised compression. Then my manifold will plug into everything already in the car. Anything i should be aware of ?

Not really, it would be different if you were putting the z6 head into a Y7 equiped car but your swapping everything under the head into a allready vtec equiped car.
