I don't understand what it is that Energy Suspension motor mount bushings are. It sounds like, from their description, that you leave the stock rubber bushings in place and clamp on the polyurethane pieces over them, but I don't know how things all looks.

Any use Energy Suspension or Prothane motor mount bushings and have pics?

I don't think that its worth it to get performance motor mounts. They cost like $400 and won't give you too much better times on your 1/4 mile. If you've done everything else, then the motor mounts are a good way to get the last tenths of a second out.
bah, I disagree. Last time I took my Civic to the track, granted I was rocking stock steelies and stock tires, but I wheel hopped half way down the damn track. I'd LOVE to illiminate my wheel hop

poly bushings are alot harder than the regular stuff so they don't move or flex. This keeps whatever you are putting the bushing on (mounts, sway bar, etc) a lot stiffer.

If youre using inserts, you dont have to press anything. they just slide into the spaces in the stock bushing. I had to do a little trimming to fit my 00 Si bushings into my mounts, but nothing serious. They are a pretty easy install if you know how to remove and replace a mount.

yeah i have the prothane ones and they just slid right into the old mount. The timing belt side one i had to completely cut out to put in the new prothane motor mount and i had to trim it to fit because my motor isnt v-tec...
