hey guys I have a 01 civic sohc ivtec. My problem is that I need more hosepower so I can beat my friend who also has the same engine. I was looking into a k20a but I don't think it will work with my car. Is there any upgrade that will work with my engine? Any help would be geat. thanks

 

K series will definatly work with your car, but that would slaughter your friend.
Simple Intake Header and exhuast and youll beat your friend.

What mods does your buddy have to beat you? Is his car lighter?

If everything was the same you could do I/H/E and have a 1/4 tank of gas in there to lighten up and beat him. Are they both 5 speed cars?
