Ok guys maybe someone can help me with this...I bought a 99 civic hatchback about a month or so ago and since then when i accelerate in second (2) Gear i hear a ratle that seems to be in the driver side front...It only does it in second gear and only when i accelerate Fast...Any has experience this before??Or know what may do that??

it sounds more like a transmission problem to me if its only in a certain gear. 2nd gear in honda transmissions are prone to wearing out synchros quicker thant he rest.

 

man i hope not....Anything else it could be???Caus like i say if i ride it normally it doesnt do it...its only when i floor the car that the ratle is heard...

Ok today i went for a ride and i can hear it on every gear whenever the car is accelerating...its just a weird kind of noise...PLZ ANY1 HELP ME!!! Tanks
