i was talkin to a guy aboutjumpingmy compresson at 11.6 to 1. on my civicwitha d16y8.i have i/h/e already on it. buthe told me that i cant run above 11 to 1 on pump gas. and this is a guy that works on car all the time he is know for alot of his work that he does around town. but is this true do i have to stay below 11 to 1 to run pump gas? i know we have 94 oct. at most of the store around town.

i wouldent recommend 12 and up on pump, but you can run 11:6 on pump and still be safe

 

sweet i am goin to order my head gasket tomorrow and should start the build in about a week or soo

 

if your that conserned about it convert to e85 and run 100+ octane or whatever it is
